Project: George Berry, Sr. Gallery and Permanent Sign for Craftsmen's Guild
Client: Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi
The Craft Center of Mississippi features a small gallery off its lobby where members of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi hold exhibits throughout the year. The room was not originally intended to be a gallery, and upgrades were needed.
Kiyomi reinvigorated the gallery, and implemented the rebranding of the space as the George Berry, Sr. Gallery. Upgrades included frosted glass panels to allow light and visual access from the lobby, permanent signage, new display cabinets designed by Joe Partridge, and new paint that both camouflaged the ceiling with black and brightened the room with one of the Guild's new brand colors: orange.
